Spent a fun weekend working on this. I could have kept going but as it was an iamge for fun and not for my Falmouth Portfolio I thought I better stop.

The drawings of the blue tits are a bit crude but I thought it was better then using stock (although I think stock is a good thing I firmly believe in doing everything myself :) )

Continuing the theme of bad names I decided to spice this one up a bit by not using punctuation and writing out the '+' and the '2'. Methinks the title looks sexy.

The undercoat was digitally painted in photoshop. I then used overlays of pencil textures and paint splatter. The birds are obviously drawn and finished off by overlaying a scan of some line paper.

I saved it 7 times along the way so I am going to bung them all on one canvas and post them up soon. It should be more evident how it was made when you see that :)
