i like it. the bottom part of the flash on the left person seems a bit too feathered, compared to the textured detail on this rest of the pic. also, the feet of the right person should prob'ly be changed. either make it so you can see the detail or you can't; as it is it's sorta halfway in between and somewhat frustrating to look at.
Other than that, all I can see is that the bottom part seems a little empty. Love the details and colors on the clothes and the way the figures are framed.

Great piece! *fav*

I love how you've integrated stains and splatter into this piece -- gives it a real gritty feel that is hard to obtain in digital art. It's funny I feel like I can tell their gender just by looking at the cameras. I usually don't like text in works like this, but I guess that's only when it's done badly, because I think this adds to the composition.

Some people mention the feet of the right hand side, and I have to agree that something is off. They seem too big to me and when compared to the delicate features of the left side feet, they seem clunky and overly simplified. Another reason they stick out is to the fact the area around them is so clean and white. The rest of the piece is extremely textured so to have a completely blank spot seems to almost hint of the picture not being finished in some way. Also, the splotches on the left side give me hints of a floor beneath them, so I guess my mind is looking for that to be continued through.

I hope you do well in the contest, great work! :)

Interesting surrealism, it looks a bit "chopped" att the sides though, that might have to do with the elongated format, I dont know.

Flying is the art of throwing yourself at the ground... and missing!

Thanks for taking the time to comment. I did make a last minute change to all the black bits that imply the figure due to and earlier suggestion. Now I look at it though it seems to be a rather scrappy paint job, possibly due to my impatience to finish. I'm still learning about composition and intergration techniques so hopfully I will improve in the future :)

I did crop it half way through as I thought the excess wasn't neccessary, perhaps it feels 'chopped' because of the red splats at the side going 'inward' rather then 'outward' like everything else? I did think I should change that but I forgot :(
